Dancing On Ice pro Yebin Mok suffers horror injury leaving ‘tendons exposed’

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Dancing On Ice’ pro Yebin Mok suffered a horror injury that “exposed her tendons” during rehearsals.
The skater – who was paired with Olympic skier Graham Bell for the upcoming series – was “stabbed” with her own footwear’s blade ahead of this weekend’s launch show.
Revealing the news on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ on Wednesday (13.01.21), Holly Willoughby – who co-hosts ‘Dancing on Ice’ with Phillip Schofield – said: “This week Olympic skier Graham Bell and his partner Yebin had a freak accident, which resulted in her having a laceration on her leg.”
Phillip added: “We had a Zoom meeting yesterday with the team and they showed us a picture that we can not show you on TV.
“Holly couldn’t even look at it, she had to look away – and it was a very nasty stab wound from an ice blade.
“You could see the tendons, it’s a very dangerous show.”
Phil and Holly revealed comedian Rufus Hound will skate this weekend instead of Graham, who will appear on next week’s show with new partner Karina Manta while Yebin recovers.
Due to the severity of the injury, the duo admitted the pro skater will be “out of the show for quite a few weeks”.
This week, contestant Rebekah Vardy revealed her skating partner Andy Buchanan was taken to hospital after she accidentally cut his face with her skate.
She said: “I seem to be the only one who’s ended up hurting my pro, putting him in hospital.
“I do apologise. No, It was awful; I think I’ve just come to terms with scarring his face.
“We were practicing a trick and we changed it slightly from something that we would normally do – and we did it on a daily basis and everything would go right and nothing would go wrong.”
