Ralf Little was ‘told off’ for seeing fiancée during Death in Paradise filming break

OHMYGOSSIP — Ralf Little was“told off” for seeing his fiancée during a break from filming ‘Death in Paradise’.
The 41-year-old actor has been shooting the series in Guadeloupe since last July, while his partner, Lindsey Ferrentino, is based in New York, and in order to see one another during his one week away from filming on the island, they decided to fly to Sint Maarten/ Saint-Martin because Ralf had been staying in an overseas French department, and the island is also half-French, while the other half is a Dutch territory and the US had an air bridge with the Netherlands.
He said: “We were able to meet in the middle and have a week’s holiday together.”
However, despite their ingenuity, show bosses were unimpressed by Ralf’s actions.
He admitted: “I got told off. [Producers told me I’d] made a mistake. [I said] ‘Yes, I’m aware of this.’ ”
While Ralf has since flown to New York to see Lindsey after filming on ‘Death in Paradise’ wrapped, he admitted beforehand that could have been a different story if another job had come along.
He said: “Oh, let’s be clear: if another acting gig comes along, I ain’t going to America! I love working. I’m not really bothered about holidays.”
The couple’s wedding plans are currently on hold because of the coronavirus pandemic.
He said of their wedding date: “Who knows? When the world has some sense of normality and I’m not stuck in the Caribbean for five months?”
Ralf follows in the footsteps of Kris Marshall, Ardal O’Hanlon and Ben Miller in leading the cast of the crime drama, and he thinks the role suits his “nomad” lifestyle better than his predecessors, who all had families of their own.
He added to the Telegraph Magazine: “This particular job suits my particular life circumstances better than it has anyone before me …
“I don’t have any kids or responsibilities that have anchored me particularly in one place. And while, technically, I have a house in London and I live in England, I go where the work is.”
