Jason Donovan’s sister married I’m A Celebrity producer

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Donovan’s sister married one of the producers working on his series of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2006.
The 52-year-old actor finished third in the sixth season of the ITV reality show, but his sibling got a bit more out of the programme as she went on to wed one of the show’s producers, with Jason admitting the TV series is “all very weird and very connected”.
He said: “The producer for ‘I’m A Celebrity’ for me in 2006 went on to marry my sister in Australia.
“It’s all very weird and very connected.”
The Australian native is currently in London, where he is training for his stint on next year’s ‘Dancing on Ice’, and he has been tuning into this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity’ series.And the former ‘Neighbours’ actor hopes Giovanna Fletcher is named Queen of the Castle in tonight’s (04.12.20) final.
He added: “I have been watching, although I try to get to bed quite early because training is intense.
“I think it’s either Giovanna or Jordan. I love Vernon but I think this is an opportunity for those two.
“Vernon has a career, not to say the others don’t, but I think this sort of bump is sometimes the reason why people do this experience, as well as the experience itself. It helps boost a profile.
“Both of those two are wonderful characters, as is Vernon, and I’m hoping tonight is Giovanna actually. I love that family, too.
“She’s so warm. Those shows expose you for who you are.”
Jason also admitted the toughest part of his ‘Dancing on Ice’ training so far has been getting his skates on.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, he said: “I’m working very hard. The biggest challenge for me is putting the shoes on in the morning.
“That takes about 15 or 20 minutes with the laces.”
