Martin Freeman is ‘dating Rachel Mariam’

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Freeman is reportedly dating Rachel Mariam.
The 49-year-old actor – who was married to Amanda Abbington between 2000 and 2016 – is said to have recently found love with the actress, who had a small part in the drama series ‘Normal People’ earlier this year.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “It’s still early days but they are getting on really well. They have spent quite a bit of time together at his home in North London because of Covid, but Rachel was able to meet some of his friends before lockdown.
“They both love the same films and Martin supports her acting and writing career.”
Martin – who has Joe, 14, and Grace, 12, with his ex-wife – previously revealed he’s maintained a healthy relationship with Amanda since their split.
The actor said: “I wanted to be civil for us, because when you’ve loved someone for that long and they have been such an integral part of your life, what – that is supposed to not count now?”
Amanda also insisted they were determined to be “civil” with each other.
The 46-year-old actress – who starred alongside Martin in ‘Sherlock’ – explained: “When we broke up nobody knew, we didn’t tell anybody except for a few key people because they had to know, because of the logistics of hotels and stuff.
“It took six months for it to get out and a lot of that was while we were working on ‘Sherlock’ … We were professional and we were going to get on and make a show and be civil to each other.
“We still get on really well, we still really both admire each other as actors … he’s a great guy, but we just couldn’t live with each other any more.”
