Bebe Rexha: I find it hard to love myself

OHMYGOSSIP — Bebe Rexha finds it “hard to love herself sometimes”.
The 31-year-old singer took to Instagram to slam recent rumours that she’s undergone cosmetic surgery, and said she finds it “really hard” to cope with comments about her body, because she already struggles with her image.
She wrote: “It’s just really hard. Because I find it hard to love myself sometimes. And when you see yourself looking like s***, it’s like, yes, I got stretch marks, let me show you. I got stretch marks, I got cellulite, all of the above. But I don’t do surgery, I’ve never touched my body, never done lipo, never done any of that.”
Bebe added that she’s “trying to be healthy and respect what God gave me,” but “I like to eat and I also take medicine that makes it really hard for me to lose weight”.
She closed her post: “I mean, look, I’m thick, okay? I’m a thick girl. That’s how I was born.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Baby I’m Jealous’ hitmaker will always have the support of her boyfriend, Keyan Safyari, whom she recently praised as being “really sweet and so supportive” of everything she does, and making sure she feels “truly special”.
She said: “He’s really sweet and so supportive; he’s just really awesome. He’s in entertainment, but he’s on the other side of it, so he gets it, you know? He’s there for me. I don’t mind my fans knowing about it and people knowing about it, but I’m more of the person who – I don’t want to be known for my relationships, I want to be known for the art. But I think I’ve really found somebody who’s truly special and really makes me happy. So I’m really lucky right now. And he’s lucky – he’s luckier!”
Bebe credited “understanding and communication” with keeping the romance alive, and said she’s happy she and Keyan are “transparent” with one another.
She added: “Understanding and communication is super, super important. And I’m really transparent. So I think what’s important for a relationship is transparency and communication. That’s something that’s important for life and friendships.”
