Kieran Hayler warns about dangers of reality TV

OHMYGOSSIP — Kieran Hayler says reality TV puts a strain on relationships.
The former husband of Katie Price has warned Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne – who are said to be considering their own show – about signing up for a fly-on-the-wall TV series about their lives, explaining that it can put stress on a marriage.
He said: “People think it’s easy but you’re often filming from 7am until midnight. You’ve got to be on your game. Kids aren’t easy to film with either, they don’t want to do it a lot of the time. It becomes very stressful.”
And Kieran, 33 – who cheated on Katie, 42, throughout their marriage – also warned that a show could cause major drama in their relationship.
He told Closer magazine: “Everyday life doesn’t sell and viewers love gossip and drama. Producers are constantly trying to gear you up for little arguments or to push each other’s buttons.
“They’ll put things in your head or make you say certain things to cause a reaction. And once the cameras stop, you’re still reeling from the tings you’ve filmed. That gives them even more content because they’ll come back the next day to see how you’re feeling.”
While Kieran doesn’t blame reality TV for ruining his marriage, he says he wouldn’t put a new relationship through it.
He said: “I know with [Katie’s ex husband] Peter Andre, she blamed the reality show for ruining their relationship but I don’t think it had anything to do with why we split. I know reality shows get blamed for break-ups though. And I wouldn’t put my relationship on TV like that again.”
