OHMYGOSSIP — Ranvir Singh was an “emotional wreck” after watching her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ debut. The 43-year-old TV presenter took to the dancefloor to perform the Paso Doble with her professional partner Giovanni Pernice on Saturday (24.10.20), but she was left in tears when she watched the routine back the following day. Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’, she said: “I watched the show back yesterday morning because when you’re there you don’t get to see everything. I was an emotional wreck, I cried the whole way through it and I don’t know why. Caroline Quentin started crying in her VT because she just loves dancing and I just wept.” Ranvir was met with positive feedback from the panel of judges – including Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse – much to her surprise. She explained: “It’s such a surprise as I have no dancing experience. I’ve never done anything like that before so I’ve got nothing to compare it to. “I was just giving it everything I had as you’ve got nothing else in your armour. So you’re just like, ‘Right, it’s Saturday night. It’s ‘Strictly’, just put it all out there.’” However, the ‘GMB’ star is feeling the pressure this week as she has just days to learn a new routine after nailing her last performance. She added: “It’s quite terrifying. Today, in particular, because we had a bit more time to learn that routine even though I was working. I can’t tell you what it is, but it is totally different to what I’ve done. Friday comes around so quickly, so it’s daunting to be honest. “That’s the thing, all the techniques you’ve just learnt go out the window on Monday and you’ve got to learn something completely different.”
