OHMYGOSSIP — Rebecca Ferguson may quit music after her second album because “fame doesn’t make people happy.”

Rebecca Ferguson may quit music. The ‘Too Good To Lose’ star – who is also mother to Lillie May and Karl, who are both under ten – is considering retiring after her second album, which she is currently working on in the US.

She tweeted: “I think i might quit after my next album I’m giving it great thought ….so ill make this album f***ing amazing!!

“Fame doesn’t make people happy! Too many sharks in this industry, creativity should never be hindered for money (sic).”

Rebecca, 26, rose to fame when she competed on the UK edition of ‘The X Factor’ in 2010, coming second to Matt Cardle, but beating One Direction, who were placed third.

Her debut album, ‘Heaven’, was released in 2011, which was well received by fans and critics, selling over 500,000 copies.

However, Rebecca fell out with her record label last year after they told her to be more of a diva.

She said: “I have been told to be more rock ‘n’ roll but I just like sitting in watching [reality TV show]’Keeping up with the Kardashians’.

“I’ve even had label people say it, ‘Oh Bec, you need to be more of a diva!’ And I’m like, ‘Really? What do you want me to do?’

“I like living good. I mean I’ve got faults but as for doing illegal stuff, jail doesn’t interest me.”
