Ashley Benson: Spring Breakers sex scenes are beautiful

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Benson thinks her sex scenes in ‘Spring Breakers’ are “beautiful” and loves how artistically they were shot, rather than being portrayed in a “raunchy” way.

The 23-year-old actress – who is rumoured to be dating her co-star James Franco – is delighted with how professionally the intimate scenes were filmed in the movie, which follows a group of college girls who get caught up with a drug dealer during their spring vacation.

Speaking of the scene, she told MTV News: “The first time I saw it was on a very small screen, so I didn’t really get to see what it was when I got to see the film [at the Venice film festival], and that was extremely nerve-racking because it wasn’t just me, it was tons of people watching.

“I thought it was beautiful. I thought it was shot beautifully. We had an amazing [director of photography], Benoit [Debie]. For a sex scene, I think it was just filmed beautifully. It wasn’t raunchy. It was telling a story. It was so beautiful.”

Ashley recently confirmed she has split up with boyfriend Ryan Good due to her busy work schedule, but hasn’t ruled out being in a relationship again if the right man comes along.

She said: “I’ve always been in relationships. And I knew I needed to learn to be comfortable alone.

“Anytime you go through a breakup, it’s rough. Ryan and I are still close, but I’m too young to be in a serious relationship. Work is my boyfriend!

“If it happens, it happens. I’m 23 – I could have a boyfriend tomorrow. But relationships are scary, because once you’re in one, you have to face the idea of breaking up or staying together forever. It’s scary.”
