Prince WIlliam’s ‘little grape’

OHMYGOSSIP — Britain’s Prince William and his wife Duchess Catherine have reportedly nicknamed their unborn baby “our little grape”. Britain’s Prince William and his wife Duchess Catherine have nicknamed their unborn baby “our little grape”.

The royal couple will welcome their first child into the world in July and according to Us Weekly magazine, the pair – who married in April 2011 – reportedly chose the nickname for the tot due to the fact it was the size of the vine fruit at the nine-week stage of the duchess’ pregnancy.

The publication also reports the couple want to call the baby Elizabeth Diana Carole if it is a girl.

The first name was chosen in honour of William’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth and the middle names are taken from the couple’s mothers.

Catherine – who was known as Kate Middleton prior to her wedding – recently hinted she is expecting a baby girl.

After a well-wisher presented her with a white teddy bear during an official visit to Grimsby, north England and she said: “Thank you, I will take that for my d… for my baby.”

Sandra Cook, who was standing next to a woman who gave Kate the cuddly toy, said: “As she handed it over I distinctly heard Kate say, ‘Thank you, I will take that for my d…’ Then she stopped and corrected herself to say, ‘… for my baby’.

“When she shook hands with me I said, ‘You nearly slipped up there, you were going to say daughter, weren’t you?’ She smiled and said, ‘What do you mean? We don’t know yet’.

“I teased her and said, ‘Oh I think you do’ – to which, still smiling, she replied, ‘We’re not telling.’ I’m certain it’s a girl. She wouldn’t have said the D-word otherwise. After she said it, she was a little flustered.”
