MTV Movie Awards nominations announced

OHMYGOSSIP — Now that we’ve had to endure one of the most inconsistent and clumsy award show broadcasts ever AKA “The 2013 Oscars,” it’s time to make way for the real fun. On Tuesday night, word got out that the nominations for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards have been announced. Top contenders include Silver Linings Playbook, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Ted and Django Unchained.

Per usual with any kind of award show, the most attention-grabbing instances were the snubs. The major shock amongst Twihards reading through the list this morning was that Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were not included in the best kiss category.

“I am so excited to have been nominated for three MTV Movie Awards for Perks of Being a Wallflower!” Emma Watson, who you might have noticed did make the best kiss category, told Us Weekly. “I love the show and I love this movie! I’m so thrilled.”

The 2013 MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Rebel Wilson, airs April 14 on MTV.
