Katie McGlynn shuts down Twitter user after assets comment

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie McGlynn shut down a social media user by joking one of her breasts was “a little more excited than the other” ahead of the BAFTA TV Awards.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star dressed up in a ball gown for the virtual ceremony, and while one of her followers was a fan of her look, they claimed that her assets didn’t look the same.
They wrote: “you look stunning but one breast is slightly higher than the other (sic)”
Katie delivered the perfect response, writing on Twitter: “One was a little more excited than the other…but thanks for your concern. Have a nice evening (sic)”
The ex-cobbles actress was nominated for the Must-See Moment award – the only category voted for by the public – for her ‘Corrie’ character Sinead Osbourne’s tragic death from cervical cancer.
The ceremony was held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the nominees all watching on from home.
But beforehand, Katie admitted the situation hadn’t stopped her from “getting glam”.
She tweeted: “@BAFTA ready …covid isn’t stopping me from getting glam! Thank you so much to everyone who voted, regardless of the outcome tonight it’s an actual honour to even be nominated alongside @Rob_Mallard and @itvcorrie (sic)”
Katie lost out on the night to ‘Gavin and Stacey’, which won the prize for the cliff-hanger scene in the sitcom’s Christmas special, in which Ruth Jones’ character Nessa proposed to James Corden’s alter-ego Smithy.
The nominees were completed by Love Island’s Michael Griffiths’ post-Casa Amor recoupling on last summer’s edition of the ITV2 reality show; Game of Thrones’ dramatic scene where Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) killed the Night King in the final season of the HBO epic; the shock killing of Line of Duty’s undercover police officer John Corbett; and the hot priest visiting the titular character in Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s ‘Fleabag’.
