Kate Hudson buys new house

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Hudson isn’t feeling the pinch — she’s just splashed out $5.3 million on a brand spanking new home. The actress, 33, and her fiance Matt Bellamy have purchased an exclusive new property directly next door to her current home in the plush Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles.

The couple — who share 17-month-old son Bingham and also raise Kate’s son Ryder, seven, from her first marriage to Chris Robinson — were eager to expand their current living space and snapped up the 7,000 square-foot mock Tudor residence, which features a pool and a spa, two garages, five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

Sources say the couple are planning to use the house primarily as a residence for guests despite the fact their properties are close to her mother Goldie Hawn and stepfather Kurt Russell‘s home.
