Jason Manford would do I’m A Celebrity if Carole Baskin signs up

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Manford would consider ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ if Carole Baskin was his campmate.
The 39-year-old comedian has weighed in following reports the ‘Tiger King’ star is being lined up by bosses wanting her for the next series of the ITV reality show.
Discussing the rumours on ‘Absolute Radio’, he said: “If Carole Baskin ends up in the jungle, I might sign up!”
If he did end up in the jungle, Jason would probably want to avoid “wild animals” after his son recently had an accident involving a horse.
He admitted: “As I mentioned on the show a couple of weeks ago, my son got bitten by a horse, as we wandered past it just because it wandered over so we were like, ‘Aw let’s stroke these horses’.
“But even though they’re just sheep and horses they’re still wild animals.”
A listener called into the radio show and revealed how she was bitten on the bottom – and her trainers – by lion cubs in South Africa.
Referencing animal rights activist Carole, Jason quipped: “I feel like because now I’ve seen the ‘Tiger King’, I don’t want to go full Carole Baskin on Louise, but maybe you shouldn’t be playing with baby lions.”
Carole, 59, gained a higher profile after her bitter rivalry with private zoo owner Joe Exotic was featured on Netflix’s ‘Tiger King’.
Exotic – whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage – is currently serving 22 years in prison for plotting to murder Carole, and in another twist to the saga, Carole was recently granted control of his Oklahoma zoo.
A federal judge in the western district court of Oklahoma ruled that Joe previously fraudulently transferred the property to his mother Shirley Schreibvogel, to avoid paying Carole a settlement in a trademark infringement lawsuit.
As a result, Carole was awarded The G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial Park in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.
The zoo has been run by Joe’s former business partner Jeff Lowe since 2016 but he was recently given 120 days to vacate the property, including removing all of his animals currently housed there, before Carole seizes control, according to a copy of the ruling published by the Courthouse News Service.
