What environmental project will you create to promote the protection of Mother Earth and why?
I would like to bring to awareness the destruction of the rainforest. The remaining animals and plants we have live in the rainforest, and some of these species are not found anywhere else in the world. About 150 species become extinct everyday as a result of human actions. This destruction will have extreme effects in the years to come.

What makes you proud of your country and what can you promote about it?
Norway is a beautiful country with some of the most amazing nature sceneries you have ever seen. Norway is also a peaceful country with people who are proud of being Norwegians. The people care about the environment and most of the population do good things everyday to help. I’m really proud of my country, it may be small, but it has the biggest heart.

Describe your childhood/growing years:
In the age of 8 – 13 years I was in a primary school in Asker, Norway called Hosfsad Skole. I had a really good childhood in a big house in Asker with my parents, tree sisters and some pets. I was also into a sport called rhythmic gymnastics after school which I attended for almost 26 hours every week. In my spare time I was doing homework and playing with my friends. I had a best friend who lived next door to me, her name was Tiril. Last year in the age of 18 she won the world championship in sailing.

What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
My parents were really good in teaching me the difference between right and wrong. My father was always strict and he always knew to say no. My mom was the “kind” one who sometimes gave me some extra money to buy an ice cream. My mom always made really good food. I spent a lot of time in my childhood helping her in the kitchen because I really wanted to be as good as her. She really taught me much and because of that I really love to cook food today.

What is your most memorable moment?
My most memorable moment would be two years ago when I went to Kiel in Germany right before Christmas. It was an amazing Christmas marked in Kiel, which I will never forget. It was outside in the street and it was really cold, but really beautiful. It was a feeling of music and Chistmas all the way, and I will never forget the amazing smell of Christmas cookies, candy, fresh Christmas trees and snow.

What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose it?
I would like to bring to awareness the destruction of the rainforest. The remaining animals and plants we have live in the rainforest, and some of these species are not found anywhere else in the world. About 150 species become extinct everyday as a result of human actions. This destruction will have extreme effects in the years to come.
