Lisa Riley warns Emmerdale fans not to truth Paul Ashdale

OHMYGOSSIP — Lisa Riley has warned ‘Emmerdale’ viewers not to trust Paul Ashdale.
The 43-year-old actress – who plays Mandy Dingle on the ITV soap – insisted while she understands why viewers might think Reece Dinsdale’s alter ego deserves a second chance, her own character knows more than anyone what Vinny’s (Bradley Johnson) biological father is capable of.
She said: “She doesn’t want to lose Vinny and she knows what Paul is capable of, which we don’t see on
screen.
“People are obviously going, ‘Hold on a minute, Mandy, give him a second chance’, [but] she knows how bad Paul has been and that’s the length of the story. A story doesn’t happen overnight in a soap.”
Reece’s character has been posing as ‘Alex’, Vinny’s new friend on the scrapyard – and in scenes airing next week, Bradley’s alter ego will discover he’s really hanging out with his dad.
Vinny’s mum Mandy had previously sent Paul away in an attempt to keep her adopted son from meeting him.
Lisa promised there is much more to come from the ongoing plot, and she added that viewers – and other characters – will slowly learn the truth.
She added: “This is going to go on for months and months and people are going to realise the type of person Paul is.
“Mandy just says to people that she knows more about this person than everyone else, as she’s known him for years.”
Bradley recently opened up on the bombshell, and suggested Vinny will face ” a lot of confusion” when he Paul comes clean.
He said: “With Mandy not being Vinny’s biological mother, he’s not really got any blood family.
“So when Paul comes into his life and is his blood, it is going to change things, and people do change. It will be a lot of confusion for Vinny – he won’t know what to think and what to do!”
