Vanessa Hudgens proud of High School Musical

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Hudgens is proud of her past! The actress has revealed that that starring in High School Musical helped cure her  of her shyness.

“I was a very shy and quiet kid until my parents took me to see my first Disney movie, Snow White,” she said. “After that I would always hum and sing the songs and dress up as Snow White.

“Funny how dressing up and singing songs in High School Musical actually made me apart of the Disney family.”

However, the star recently admitted she is frustrated that she is still treated as a teen idol by some of her fans.

“Sometimes and I’m like, ‘You don’t need to do that, chill out!’ says Vanessa.

“Some will just go really quiet and say nothing while some follow me and hide behind trees and bushes when I turn round. It’s kinda weird.”
