Corrie’s Alan Halsall’s self isolation house project

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’ actor Alan Halsall is spending his time in self isolation decluttering his house.
The 37-year-old actor – who plays mechanic Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV soap – is off work because production on the show has been shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic that has crippled the UK.
Alan has decided to spend his free time ridding the home he shares with his girlfriend Tisha Merry of junk items they no longer need and he is very happy with his efforts so far.
In a vlog posted to her YouTube channel, Tisha revealed that her man is getting their house organised while he’s got the chance.
She said: “So Al is taking the isolation one step further and is decluttering the entire house. He’s really proud of the fact that he’s decluttered the garage. It looks very, very good. Good lad.”
Alan can be heard in the background saying: “Better than it was.”
Just as his impressed as Tisha is Alan’s six-year-old daughter Sienna-Rae – his child with ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson – who is delighted her dad has transformed the space back into a working garage, because it resembled the home of rubbish that caveman Stig lives at in the classic children’s book ‘Stig of the Dump’.
As she looks at the tidy garage in the video – titled ‘Self Isolation Diaries’ – Sienna says: “It looked like Stig of the Dump.”
As well as his decluttering tasks, Alan has also been doing some homeschooling with Sienna to keep her busy.
Sharing some details of the trio’s days in isolation, Tisha said: “Alan has been doing some homeschooling with her, he’s trying to keep her learning and keep her active.”
Alan and Tisha – who played Steph Britton on ‘Corrie’ from 2013 until 2018 – moved in together in September 2019 after they started dating earlier that year.
The £750,000 valued three-storey property in Salford, Manchester, boasts a walk-in wardrobe, ensuite bedroom, open glass staircase, plush furnishings, a balcony terrace and huge living space.
Lucy-Jo – who was married to Alan for nine years – is now in a relationship with her new boyfriend Lewis Devine.
