Adam Rickitt in awe of Hollyoaks co-stars

OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Rickitt is “in awe” of his ‘Hollyoaks’ co-stars Jessica Fox and Ashley Taylor Dawson.
The 41-year-old actor has promised fans there are some emotional scenes heading their way, which will see his alter ego Kyle Kelly reach out to support Ashley’s character Darren Osborne in his battle with depression, while also grappling with the problems in his own relationship with his pal’s ex-wife Nancy Osborne (Fox) following her tragic miscarriage and apparent unenthusiasm for their upcoming wedding.
And Adam feels “utterly blessed” to be working with such “incredible” co-stars.
He shared photos of all three of them on Instagram and wrote: “Not going to lie…if even HALF of the emotion that’s being created makes it to your screen…I will be so proud!
“Utterly blessed to be working with such amazing writers, directors and crew…and especially such incredible acting talent.
“Not tagging anyone as would be embarrassing…but feel in awe of her talent, beauty, grace and kindness and his talent, wit and generosity (and floppy hair [laughing face emoji]). Will always be grateful for the opportunity to do such amazing work with such amazing people [heart eye emojis] #Hollyoaks #actor #blessed (sic)”
Meanwhile, Adam is set to have some new co-stars to interact with soon as Chris Quinten and Diana Weston were recently cast as his on-screen parents Mark and Carole.
Chris is particularly excited to be working with Adam as he previously played murder victim Brian Tilsley in ‘Coronation Street’.
His character was the father of Nick Tilsley, who was originally played by Warren Jackson before Adam took over the role in 1997 when it was recast, eight years after the death of his on-screen dad.
Chris said recently: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the scenes I’ve filmed so far at Hollyoaks, I already love the show and all of the cast, crew and production staff are fantastic and so friendly.
“Working with Adam after first playing ‘his’ dad more than thirty years ago is a dream come true, it’s a brilliant piece of soap nostalgia, which I hope everyone enjoys.
“I think Mark and Carole will really give viewers an insight into why Kyle became the man he is today, which has been a lot of fun to play and I’m looking forward to doing more.”
