Helena Bonham Carter: Tim Burton gives red cards for bad behaviour

OHMYGOSSIP — Helena Bonham Carter has revealed that partner Tim Burton gives her yellow and red cards for bad behaviour. The new way of resolving issues in the relationship has apparently arisen from the Frankenweenie director’s obsession with football.

“He’s become a real soccer fanatic so he has yellow cards and red cards. I’m always being sent off,” said Bonham Carter, according to The Sun.

“It’s pretty playful but that’s good for me,” she added.

Burton’s new horror-comedy Dark Shadows is due in cinemas on May 11 in the US and UK.

As well as starring in her partner’s film, Bonham Carter is currently making Les Misérables with Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway.
