Kate Middleton 6 weeks pregnant

Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge, is gonna be a mommy! According to a tabloid report, the lovely brunette — who married Prince William earlier this year — is 6 weeks pregnant with the couple’s first child.

“Since before they even got married, it’s been made clear to William and Kate that having children should be their number-one priority,” a source said.

“Queen Elizabeth II, in particular, has been dropping so many hints about wanting a great-grandchild — and an heir to the throne — that Kate feared she wouldn’t be able to face her without baby news.”

Sources say the royal couple have already picked a name.

“They want something traditional,” the source hints. “Edward, Philip and Michael are likely choices for a boy, or Alice or Rose for a girl.”

Since rules were updated so that the firstborn child of the prince wouldn’t have to be male to inherit the throne, William, in particular, is said to be secretly hoping for a daughter.

“He’s very much his mother’s son, and he also knows that his father, Prince Charles, would like a granddaughter,” the insider explains, adding that Kate agrees. “She’s happiest when William is happy.”
