Tori Spelling thought she’d be having a boy

Tori Spelling was “110 per cent” she was going to have a boy before her baby daughter was born. The ‘Beverly Hills, 90210′ actress welcomed little girl Hattie Margaret into the world last month but she had convinced herself she and her husband Dean McDermott were having a son.

“I was 110 percent sure we were having a boy!” she told Us Weekly magazine. “When the doctor held her up, he said, ‘You guys were all wrong.’ It was the biggest shock. I never thought girls would run this household. We outnumber the boys!”
 
Tori — who already has a four-year-old son Liam and daughter Stella, three, with Dean — had been booked in for a Caesarean section but her baby had other ideas and her water broke six days before her hospital date.
 
Dean, 45, had to rush his wife to hospital and the nervous 38-year-old TV star held his hand all the way to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
 
“My water broke in the middle of the night!” she recalled. “I held his hand, and I thought I was going to crush it – I felt every bump and turn! I was, like, ‘Oh, God, go slower!’ ”
 
Although Hattie wasn’t planned, Tori insists the new arrival has brought her and Dean even closer together.
 
“The baby wasn’t planned, but it obviously happened for a reason …The moment I had her, I looked at Dean and fell in love with him all over again,” she said.
