Curtis Pritchard up for Strictly Come Dancing pro role with brother AJ

OHMYGOSSIP — Curtis Pritchard would “absolutely” join ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ as a professional.
The former ‘Love Island’ star is the brother of AJ Pritchard – a fan favourite on the BBC Latin and ballroom show – and while he already work on the Beeb’s ‘Greatest Dancer’ programme, he would love the opportunity to work with his sibling.
He told Metro.co.uk: “Who knows what the future holds, ‘Strictly’ would be something I’d love to do and to work with AJ would be a dream come true.
“We’re doing ‘AJ Live’ next year, so that is going to be incredible, but ‘Strictly’, if the opportunity came at the correct moment, absolutely.”
However, Curtis was keen to point out that he’s already living the dream after rising to fame on the ITV2 dating show over the summer, and the dancer has no idea what lies ahead.
He added: “I have been so lucky, so fortunate to have all of this work.
“I’m here, what, Curtis Pritchard, 23, why am I here? It is crazy the amount of opportunities. So I don’t know if I will or won’t do it.”
Meanwhile, the star has signed up to become an ambassador for weight loss programme WW after putting on around two stone during his time on ‘Love Island’, and he has since revealed how he manages to “focus” himself.
He recently explained: “Being body positive just means being happy with yourself.
“I try to be mentally positive – that means you end up body positive in turn. I’ve started meditation – it’s really cleared my head and started enabling me to focus on myself.”
The reality star insisted while “body shaming” didn’t impact on his own mental health, people shouldn’t feel pressure from others to look a certain way.
He added: “Luckily when it happened to me it didn’t affect my mental health – I have an incredible support network, my mum, my dad, my nan, and brother are always there – I can, and will always go to them.
“I also try not to read comments – positive or negative – because I believe if you accept everything you are, then you can be happy in yourself. I also believe post a picture if you want to post a picture – not because someone else wants you to!”
