Pixie Lott designs festival clothing line

Pixie Lott has designed a California-inspired clothing line for this year’s summer festivals. In the first webisode of Pixie Lott for Lipsy, the ‘Boys and Girls’ singer is seen taking inspiration from outfits that caught her eye at this year’s Coachella festival in California to help design her own creations ready for the music festival season in the UK.

Lott’s collection is going to be split into two lines. One will be called Pixie Party, with the other being named California Dreaming.

Her party collection is to utilise block colours and layered chiffons, while her California Dreaming assemblage will be vintage-inspired style.

“I’m having such great fun turning my fashion ideas into another exciting range and am overwhelmed with the response so far. This time I’ve taken my inspiration from the floaty feminine florals of the ’70s to the neon brights of the Miami party scene and what I love to wear out with my friends,” Lott explained in a statement.

The collection, which is being designed for Lipsy, will launch on May 24.
