Finnish Fitness model Janni Hussi to Ohmygossip.com: I wish my career will be enough challencing
“The best advice that I ever have been given is “never give up and follow your dreams”. It’s maybe a little bit cliché but to me it has given hope when I’ve needed it the most,” Finnish “Fitnessmalli 2010” winner Janni Hussi (19) tells Ohmygossip.com exclusively.
Please, tell us about yourself?
I’m a very optimistic and energetic person. I love all kinds of sports and I’m very active in every sector of life. I do sports every day in all forms but mostly I work out at the gym. I’m studying at Sport Institute of Finland and I’ll graduate at spring 2012. I’m working at a sport store called Top-Sport and I’m also an aerobic and spinning instructor at the local gym. I have some other jobs too, but those are the “main-jobs”.
What would you like to be doing five years from now? What are your long-term goals – how are you preparing yourself to achieve them? If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?
I wish that five years from now I’m studying at University of Jyväskylä to become a sports teacher. I also wish that I still can train hard and do sports and be healthy. It would also be wonderfull if I had some personal training works to do.
I will study hard to get in to the University.
And the “dream job” would be a sport teacher or a personal trainer, or both of them.
What are the most important rewards you expect in your career? What motivates you?
I wish my career will be enough challencing, I want to work to gain something. I think that the most important reward would be a nice and sure job, without a scare (in current economic situation) that some day there won’t be a job anymore. This motivates me to study and work hard.
Who is your role model and why?
I think my role model is a Swedish Fitness competitior Linda Fodor because she is so beautiful and I love her style. She is in amazing fit after giving birth and she also seems to have her feet on the ground.
What was the best advice you’ve been given?
The best advice that I ever have been given is “never give up and follow your dreams”. It’s maybe a little bit cliché but to me it has given hope when I’ve needed it the most.
What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time I meet my friends and do some sports. But unfortunately there is not a lot of spare time.
Let´s talk about fashion too. Please describe your style? What do you like to wear most?
My style is very sporty and casual. I love to wear nice sneakers, and some nice colored t-shirt and fit jeans.
Who/what inspires your fashion?
I like to wear colourful and comfort, I think that this is the only thing that inspires me. I don’t have any rolemodels in this case. What looks and feels good, is good to me.
How long do you spend on your outfit each day?
I spend about 10-30 minutes on my outfit every day. It depends a lot on the feelings and the program of the day. We have a lot of sports here at school, so I do not need a lot of make up or style my hair. I like neutral and natural make up. If I’m going to celebration, for example my friend’s birthday party, then I can spend even an hour on my outfit.
Is there one piece in particular that you would say is your signature piece?
My signature piece is smiling. I usually smile all the time. And laugh a lot.
What is your favorite accessory?
My favourite accessory is my sport watch. It’s always with me. I also like my Nomination bracelets. Usually I wear those accessories and some simple necklace.
What do you always carry with you?
I always carry my phone and lipbalm with me.
What is your favorite fashion store/shop? Who is your favorite designer?
I don’t have any favourite designers, but I usually buy my clothes from sport shops, like Top-Sport, Intersport, Stadium and so on. I also like Vero Moda’s and Vila’s clothes.
