Shia LaBeouf misses Megan Fox
Shia LaBeouf misses Megan Fox on the set of ‘Transformers 3’. The actor – who plays Sam Witwicky in the blockbuster series – is sad about Megan’s departure as his on-screen love interest Mikaela Banes, but believes it will help him develop his character.
He said: “I love Megan and I miss the girl. But Sam and Mikaela became one character, and here. you have discovery again from a new perspective.”
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley took over the role from Megan, following speculation she was axed from the action franchise – rumours she has denied.
The 2009 instalment of the series, ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’, gained criticism from fans and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura has accepted the sequel could have been better.
He told USA Today: “We tried to do too many things in the second movie, which didn’t give enough time in any one of them. We were constantly jumping to the next piece of information, the next place.”
Director Michael Bay has promised more from the third film, which he hinted may be the last.
He said: “As a trilogy, it really ends. It could be rebooted again, but I think it has a really killer ending.”
