Justin Bieber to appear on SNL

Justin Bieber (16) will perform on an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live, NBC has announced.

The 16-year-old will appear on the show in April when 30 Rock star Tina Fey is scheduled to host.

The SNL instalment will air on April 10. The sketch comedy show has also booked Ke$ha and Ryan Phillippe for April 17, plus Gabourey Sidibe and MGMT for April 24.

Bieber recently became the youngest solo male artist to top the Billboard Top 200 since Stevie Wonder.
