Robert Pattinson: I could never move back to London
OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Pattinson has admitted that he cannot see himself living in London again. The British actor – who was raised in Barnes – said that he likes living in Los Angeles as he can “hide and escape easily”.
The star told the London Evening Standard that he would be hounded by press if he ever bought a home in the capital.
He said: “I would like a place in London but there would just be people outside my door all the time. I’m used to LA where I can hide and escape easily through underground car parks, that sort of thing.”
Pattinson also said that he liked the “anonymity” of filming new movie The Rover in the remote Australian town of Marree.
“I think it’s really fun to work with a crew in a tiny little town where everybody’s hanging out with each other all the time,” he explained. “You develop a great bond, and I haven’t had that for a while.
“Considering it’s a pretty dark movie and quite bleak, we ended up having loads of fun.”
Pattinson recently discussed his former girlfriend Kristen Stewart’s infidelity, saying that “s**t happens”.
