Christina Aguilera records song for Hunger Cames: Catching Fire
OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Aguilera has recorded a song for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack. The singer took to Twitter Wednesday to confirm that she’ll provide a song for the highly anticipated movie starring Jennifer Lawrence, joining Coldplay, who recently released their soundtrack single ‘Atlas’.
“Love the underlying message of @TheHungerGames. ‘We Remain’ is special new song, its message to my fans & how I connect w/ the movie, alike,” she wrote.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is Lionsgate’s blockbuster follow-up to 2012′s smash hit movie The Hunger Games, based on Suzanne Collins’ best-selling young adult fantasy novels.
The new film follows Lawrence’s heroine Katniss Everdeen and her beau Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) as they adjust to their new celebrity status after winning the Hunger Games in the first film. However, little do they know that they’ll be forced to do it all over again in the 75th annual Hunger Games.
The film costars Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Donald Sutherland, Stanley Tucci, Elizabeth Banks, Sam Claflin and Woody Harrelson.
