Craig Revel Horwood’s apologised to Shirley Ballas for his comments about her “fake boobs”

OHMYGOSSIP — Craig Revel Horwood apologised to Shirley Ballas for his comments about her “fake boobs”. The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge went on a rant about Shirley, 58, during his book tour, where he claimed that her “fake boobs” were “hanging out” during her ‘Strictly’ audition and Shirley has now revealed that Craig, 53, has said sorry.

She told The Sun: “I don’t think it’s appropriate for anyone to make comments about anyone else – be it about their body or anything they do — when working as a team. I’m a team player and I have the backs of my fellow people. Yes, I got an apology – a sincere apology. I don’t need anybody to make me feel bad about myself. I can do that to myself. To each his own. I don’t think you need to sell anything off the back of making anybody else look small. I don’t think joking about somebody else’s body is funny.’

Craig caused controversy during his book tour for ‘My Fab-U-Lous Life’, when he lashed out at his fellow ‘Strictly’ stars including Shirley and Tess Daly, who he branded “dull”. Speaking about Shirley, he said: “What happened is that she came to the audition and literally had her thing open to her navel. I am not joking. Her boobs were like La BaZooKa things hanging out. It was not very, erm, ‘Strictly’. So they came in and sewed all that up. Then they had to push them down . . .  and they’re fake.”
