Ellis Hillon ‘facing sack from McDonald’s after tweets’

OHMYGOSSIP — Axed ‘Big Brother’ contestant Ellis Hillon could be sacked from McDonald’s after she was booted off the show for “offensive and unacceptable” tweets.
The 20-year-old fast-food worker headed into the house on Friday night (14.09.18), but she was removed less than 24 hours into the latest series after it was claimed messages on her Twitter account dating back to 2014 contained offensive material – and the eatery is now looking into the tweets.
A McDonald’s spokesperson told The Scottish Sun newspaper: “We do not comment on individual employees but can confirm we are looking into these alleged social media posts.”
‘Big Brother’ kicked Ellis out of the abode after the “offensive and unacceptable” social media posts were discovered.
A spokesman for the show said: “As a result of our investigation into offensive and unacceptable posts on social media, Ellis Hillon has been removed from the Big Brother house.”
On Sunday night’s (16.09.18) episode, Ellis was summoned to the Diary Room where she was handed a piece of paper with the tweets on and asked if she had sent the messages.
She said: “Yeah I did, years ago … but yeah.”
Big Brother then said: “Big Brother does not tolerate offensive language. As a result we will be removing you immediately.”
When asked if she had anything to say, she replied: “No. Apart from that I’m sorry. I don’t want to see anyone. I just want to go home.”
Ellis’ posts have now all been deleted.
Big Brother’s final ever series on Channel 5 kicked off on Friday night when Ellis and 13 other contestants headed into the abode, with the winner set to take home £100,000.
Host Emma Willis believes this series will bring all the “brilliant bits from the past” to mix with all the good bits from recent series.
She said: “They’ve taken all the brilliant bits from the past and all the good stuff from recent series. It’s been on for a bloody long time and it has to be different. I think they’ve made – I’m getting emotional now – I think they’ve made it brilliantly. I think the housemates as well, they are a really good mix of just the public.”
