Meghan Trainor thinks Demi Lovato will come back ‘stronger’ after overdose

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Trainor thinks Demi Lovato will come back “stronger than ever.”
The 25-year-old singer is currently seeking help in rehab after she was hospitalised last month following a suspected overdose and, although she’s devastated that she was knocked off the straight and narrow, her friend and fellow musician is confident that the relapse will make her a better person and artist in the long run.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, the ‘All About That Bass’ hitmaker, 24, said: “We love you, Demi. You’re so strong.
“We know you’ll come back stronger than ever and I can’t wait for her return.”
The blonde beauty was one of the first people to message Demi when the news broke that she had been found unconscious at her home in Los Angeles, California.
Meghan explained: “I just said, ‘We love you,’ because it’s heartbreaking for her, but also her whole team and her family and everyone around her.
“I know her team, and it must be such a shock for them. … I just hope they’re all OK, and I hope she’s OK right now in the hospital.”
Details on Demi’s suspected overdose are being kept tightly guarded but the ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ hitmaker did break her silence shortly before she entered rehab last week.
She wrote in an open letter posted on Instagram: “I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time.
“It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet. I want to thank God for keeping me alive and well. To my fans, I am forever grateful for all of your love and support throughout this past week and beyond.
“Your positive thoughts and prayers have helped me navigate through this difficult time. I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery.
“The love you have all shown will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side. I will keep fighting.”
Demi – who has battled with drugs and alcohol abuse in the past – had stayed away from substances for six years but she recently revealed that she had fallen off the wagon when she released her song ‘Sober’ in June.
