Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan focused on their daughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan are “focusing on their daughter” in the wake of their recent separation.
The ‘Magic Mike’ star and the 37-year-old actress have four-year-old daughter Everly together, and after announcing they would be filing for divorce after almost a decade of marriage, it has been reported that the pair are working hard to co-parent their tot.
A source said: “The focus is their daughter. Like other couples, they have had arguments and disagreements, but they were always very conscious about giving their daughter lots love and a great life.”
Channing, also 37, and Jenna have remained friends since their split, but sources insist the former couple – who wed in 2009 – aren’t planning on reconciling and would rather stay friends.
The insider added: “It’s not anything rushed. They will not get back together, but they will continue to be the best parents to Everly. The fact that they get along is everything.”
And it has also been claimed that the pair’s love had “turned into a friendship” prior to their split, which caused them to go their separate ways.
Speaking to People magazine, a source said: “They honestly do still love each other and that’s not just for show. That love turned more into a friendship rather than the passion they felt when they first met and fell in love.
“That almost made it harder for them to decide to separate because there weren’t any huge issues, and there’s not one person to point a finger at as the one who screwed up.”
Meanwhile, the couple insisted in their statement that they still love each other, and they don’t have any secrets to hide about why their marriage is ending.
The statement said: “We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple.
“We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now.
“There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision – just two best friends realising it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.
“We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly. We won’t be commenting beyond this, and we thank you all in advance for respecting our family’s privacy. Sending lots of love to everyone, Chan&Jenna [sic]”
