Prince Harry may choose not to wear wedding band

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry may opt not to wear his wedding band after marrying Meghan Markle.
The 33-year-old royal is set to tie the knot with the former ‘Suits’ actress at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May, and after the pair are officially married, the flame-haired royal could choose to follow in the footsteps of his older brother Prince William and father Prince Charles by not wearing his ring.
A Palace spokesman told the Daily Star newspaper: “It is simply down to personal preference.”
St Jame’s Palace revealed that Harry won’t be seen wearing his band a month prior to their ceremony on May 19.
Meanwhile, William previously admitted his younger sibling is yet to ask him to be his best man.
The 35-year-old royal is expected to take on the role at his brother’s wedding to Meghan, but he’s clearly making him wait to find out, and William joked it “could be a sensitive subject”.
He said: “He hasn’t asked me yet, just to clear that up. It could be a sensitive subject.”
William is “trying to see what I can do” about being able to attend the FA Cup final in his role of President of the FA on the same date as his brother’s nuptials.
Although the times aren’t thought to clash, as the wedding will take place at midday, whilst the football usually kicks off at around 5:30pm, it’s expected William will skip the football.
A Kensington Palace spokesperson said: “We haven’t made any announcement on this, we are aware of the date clash and the Duke of Cambridge is aware as well.”
Whilst the FA said in a statement: “Everyone at The FA is delighted for HRH Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with the announcement of their wedding at Windsor Castle.
“Saturday 19 May promises to be a wonderful day such a special royal occasion being followed by English football’s showpiece event, the Emirates FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium.
“With millions coming together to watch both events at home and around the world, it will be a day to celebrate.”
